*CURRENTLY…Tim is choreographing Ride the Cyclone and Matilda as well as Directing Matilda JR. with Theatre Raleigh ACT! He is also assisting in casting Theatre Raleigh’s 2026 season which includes Come From Away, Dear Evan Hansen, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors and Miss Bennet, Christmas at Pemberley!

A CREATIVE LEADER
Tim currently serves as Assistant Creative Director, Resident Choreographer, and Resident Director for Theatre Raleigh ACT. His choreography and direction is rooted in athleticism, musical precision, and dynamic storytelling, blending his background in dance and gymnastics with strong theatrical composition. His work consistently reflects professional rehearsal standards, clear visual storytelling, and a deep understanding of ensemble architecture.
In addition to his work with TRACT, Tim serves on the professional creative teams for Theatre Raleigh’s Equity productions as an Assistant Director and Choreographer and acts as Casting Assistant for all mainstage productions. In his casting role, he collaborates directly with directors and producers to evaluate talent, assess performance quality, and help shape production ensembles. This perspective informs his choreographic and directing approach, as he works with a keen eye for individuality, versatility, and performance readiness.
Professional creative team credits include Theatre Raleigh (Peter and the Starcatcher, Choreographer; The Prom, Assistant Director and Choreographer), Raleigh Little Theatre (Kinky Boots), and Myrtle Beach Area Children’s Theatre (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat; Les Miserables).
Since 2021 Tim has choreographed Theatre Raleigh ACT’s Junior Theater Festival pieces, earning international recognition and multiple Outstanding Overall Festival Awards. Most recently, he choreographed the international premiere of Once Upon a One More Time Jr., performed for over 7,100 attendees at Junior Theater Festival.
Tim’s work is driven by high artistic standards, professional discipline, and a commitment to developing performers who are technically strong, theatrically compelling, and industry aware.
